Handball: Flensburg hires goalkeeper Buric from Wetzlar

The SG Flensburg-Handewitt will be joined next season by goalkeeper Benjamin Buric (26).The Bosnian national keepers will move from their rival HSG Wetzlar to the Northern Lights and signed a three-year contract with the German runners-up until 2021.This was announced by the SG on Friday.

“With Benjamin Buric we have completed our squad planning on the goalkeeper position for the coming years starting next season,”said Flensburgs Managing Director Dierk Schmäschke:”I am very pleased that we now have our new team of goalkeepers together with two such high-calibre and promising players”.

The SG had previously secured the services of Norway’s national goalkeeper Torbjorn Bergerud.
