Malcolm Delaney enters his second season with the Atlanta Hawks, who have been in the rebuild phase since this summer.Schröder-Backup wants to attack and believes in a successful future for the franchise.
When asked if his role with the Hawks could grow in the next season, Delaney replied to DAZN:”Hopefully.I didn’t talk much to Coach[Mike Budenholzer] this summer, but I believe in it.Last year I was mainly interested in gaining a foothold.This year I want to attack and be more aggressive.”
After a turbulent off-season the Hawks are in a rebuild.Nevertheless, Delaney believes in victories:” We have a new GM, Travis[Schlenk] brings a winning mentality from Golden State,”the city of Atlanta is still standing behind us and the front office is building a big thing here”.
All in all, the former Bayern player believes that the season can be a success:”We have a team together that can still be successful and fun,”he says.Coach[Budenholzer] is also very ambitious.He’s used to winning – both from his time in San Antonio and here in Atlanta.”
