NBA: Extending Suns with Warren

The Phoenix Suns and T. J.Warren has reportedly reached agreement on a contract extension.Before that, the wing player was still in his rookie contract.

That’s what ESPN says.Accordingly, the deal was finalized on Monday afternoon local time and amounts to four years and $50 million.

From the player’s point of view, this is a surprisingly good deal, as Warren has already had to struggle with various injuries.Nevertheless, he fits in with the Suns’ concept of gradually building up a young team with potential.

In the past season Warren was on the floor 66 times, 59 of which he started from.In an average of 31 minutes he played 14.4 points and 5.1 rebounds.
