Rolf Brack will be the new coach of the Handball Bundesliga team Frisch Auf Göppingen.The former Swiss national coach replaces Magnus Andersson, who was sacked on Tuesday, and is given a one-year contract.The 63-year-old will be in charge of the team against TV Hüttenberg on Sunday.

“We reached an agreement very quickly with Rolf Brack in professional discussions and are sure that he is now the right man in the right place,”said Supervisory Board Chairman Ulrich Weiß.

Brack, who holds a doctorate in sports science, trained not only in Switzerland but also in TSV Zuffenhausen and HBW Balingen-Weilstetten.Göppingen are only in the middle of the Bundesliga table.
