Trevor Bauer of the Cleveland Indians misses one of his homemade drones. He lost them in a park and now turns to his social media followers for help.In the previous year his passion for drones became his fatality.
The pitcher is known for building drones and making them fly around. On Monday he lost one of them in a park in Cleveland,”I flew them through the park and after about half an hour I had to go back to the park. One minute she touched the ground and the GoPro camera loosened up, but I didn’t notice it because the drone stayed in the air.So I kept flying the drone. At the end of the flight, about a minute later, the drone crashed into a completely different part of the park.It basically landed”, Bauer described on Tuesday what had happened.
Since he couldn’t find the drone, he turned to Twitter and posted:”Hey, hey, Clague Park drone thief.”Please bring IronMan back to me early, or you’ll force me to build a new mate.”
IronMan is one of two drones owned by Bauer:”If I don’t get it back, I have to build a third one”and added:”And no Cleveland fan wants me to build drones right now” Bauer alluded to the fact that he also worked on a drone in the last year before his start in game 2 of the ALCS and had to get a cut on his thumb and be sewn up.His further involvement in the playoffs was then severely endangered.
However, Bauer did not really mean his threat very seriously:”I hope I will find it.And if not, it’s a pretty funny story.”
