NBA: Media: Hartenstein to play in the G-League

The signs are increasing that Isaiah Hartenstein will be playing for the Houston Rockets in the G-League.This is reported by various media.

Last week, the Houston Chronicle reported that Hartenstein could run up in the G-League for the Rio Grande Valley Vipers and thus remain firmly in the USA.Whether he will receive one of the two-way-contracts at the rockets is not yet clear.

In the meantime, ESPN has also picked up on the rumours and confirmed them with its own sources.Only an official statement of the franchise is still missing.

The German was awarded 43rd place in the Draft 2017.Houston’s place. At first it was a mystery whether he would continue to play in Europe next season, where he had last played for Zalgiris Kaunas. But apparently that is not the case.Instead, he will probably get many minutes in the G-League and will be able to learn the rockets’ systems there.
