NBA: Media: Nuggets want to extend with Harris

The Denver Nuggets are looking to play for the playoffs in the West next season.Gary Harris, who will become a Restricted Free Agent in 2018, is an important part of the backcourt.The nuggets want to extend the shooting guard before the start of the season.

That’s what Matt Moore of CBS reported.Harris and Denver are said to be in advanced negotiations.It is expected that the deadline for the start of the season will be reached before the deadline.

If no agreement can be reached by then, Harris will become a Restricted Free Agent in the summer of 2018.Each team could make an offer to the guard, with which the nuggets could then equal.

It is not known what volume an extension could have.But it won’t be cheap for Denver.Harris played the best season of his career in his third year and scored just under 15 points per game.He also convinced with a strong defense and 42 percent of downtown.
