First Breath of Breath at the Indianapolis Colts!Quarterback Andrew Luck will return to training this week after a long injury break. When Luck will play again remains open for the time being.
Managing Director Chris Ballard confirmed to WTTV-TV that Luck will return to training this week for the first time since his shoulder operation. At the same time, Ballard emphasized:”We will slowly get him back on track this week. Then we’ll see how much he trains.”
First, however, there is a concrete timetable for the quarterback’s return:”We’ve worked out a plan, he’s supposed to get some reps first and then return to the squad units before he plays again.”
Luck had undergone the shoulder surgery in January, but at first the prognoses indicated that he would be fit by the start of the season. But again and again his return to training was postponed, so that Indy even became active on the trade market and got Jacoby Brissett from New England. It turned out to be a lucky move and gave the Colts the chance to win in the last weeks – at least against the Browns it worked.
Ballard concluded:”Andrew is making really good progress. The Colts receive the San Francisco 49ers in Week 5 before division duels take place in Tennessee and at home against Jacksonville.
