NBA: Media: Jamison becomes Lakers Scout

The Los Angeles Lakers continue to bet on former players.After club icon Magic Johnson becomes the new President of Basketball, Antawn Jamison will be brought to the scouting department.

That’s what Shams Charania from The Vertical says.Accordingly, the 41-year-old will be integrated into Scouting under Magic and General Manager Rob Pelinka.However, the extent of his role is not yet known.

Jamison was picked to number four in 1998 and played a total of 16 seasons in the NBA, where he averaged 18.5 points, 7.5 rebounds and 1.6 assists. In 2004 he was named Sixth Man of the Year, and in 2005 and 2008 he was All Star.
