NBA: Hornets shock: Batum missing two months

Too bad for the Charlotte Hornets.Nicolas Batum will miss the franchise from North Carolina for up to two months.The Frenchman is suffering from an injury to his elbow.

That’s what an MRI investigation revealed.The forward injured himself after just one minute in the Preseason game against the Detroit Pistons and did not return to the court.How the injured elbow is to be treated is still unclear.Batum will therefore be at least six to eight weeks late.The team announced this in a press release.

Batum played 15.0 points, 6.2 rebounds and 5.8 assists in years with the Hornets on average.For him, No. 12-Pick Malik Monk could now move into the starting five of the Hornets.
