DEL: Mannheim international Wolf drops out for at least eight weeks

National player David Wolf is not available to the Mannheim eagles in the DEL for at least eight to ten weeks.The striker suffered a leg injury in his 3-1 win at home last Friday against the ERC Ingolstadt.

“It’s my first serious injury.Fortunately, it’s not as bad as initially feared.Now you have to stay positive, look ahead and prepare for the comeback in the best possible way,”said the 28-year-old.

Wolf is thus defeated for the Deutschland Cup (10.till 12.November), the endurance test for the Olympic Games in Pyeongchang.Until the Olympic tournament (9.till 25.February 2018) he should be fit again.
