The question of the fifth starter at the Cleveland Cavaliers has been answered.Dwyane Wade will take the place as shooting guard and thus J. R. will be the shooting guard.Smith to the bank.This was confirmed by Head Coach Ty Lue.
Lue told cleveland. com that Wade was in the Starting Five and J. R. R.I just wanted to do it like that,”Lue told ESPN.Derrick Rose will also start because of the injury to Isaiah Thomas.
“He will start as a point guard, but leave early to lead the second unit,”revealed Lue, who once again praised the former MVP,”He has been really good so far.We’ll make room for him in the field so that he can find his teammates and still play at high speed.”
One of the victims of the newcomers is Smith.Lue was not too worried about the former starter, however.It’s hard to just sit on the bench after three finals, but you have to sacrifice something if you want to win.”
In the preseason, Wade made a much better impression so far.The veteran scored 13.45 points and a 61.9 percent roll rate from the field, while Smith scored an average of only 5 points and threw 30.8 percent out of the field.
