NFL: Media: Cardinals get Adrian Peterson

Adrian Peterson has apparently been traded from the New Orleans Saints to the Arizona Cardinals.According to ESPN reporter Dianna Russini, the Running Back will be transferred to the West Coast for a Conditional Draft Pick.

Peterson’s engagement in New Orleans has been terminated after only four weeks. The 32-year-old was often only on the sidelines.Alvin Kamara and Mark Ingram mostly got the preference over the experienced.

The former Viking already publicly expressed his dissatisfaction a few days ago.Peterson could replace David Johnson, who had contracted a wrist injury and will be out of action for two to three months.

With Peterson, the Cards are now bringing the next replacement for the backfield to Chris Johnson.Peterson will have to fight for time in Arizona, too.In addition to CJ2K, coach Bruce Arians with Kerwynn Williams and Andre Ellington offer some alternatives.
