DEL: Adler Mannheim get US defender Stuart

The Adler Mannheim from the DEL have signed the long-time NHL defender Mark Stuart.The 33-year-old American will be awarded a contract with the fourth place in the standings until the end of the season.

Stuart has played 699 games for the Boston Bruins, Atlanta Thrashers and their successor club Winnipeg Jets (move) in the North American professional league NHL since 2006, including play-offs.Stuart played for the Canadians until the end of last season.

“Mark is a classic Stay-at-home-Defender known for his hard work on the ice.He was also assistant captain in Winnipeg for a long time.He has a highly professional attitude and will continue to stabilize our defensive action,”said Teal Fowler, Eagle Manager.
