Since the summer of 2010, there has been a rumor in NBA circles that the “Heatles” LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh all landed in Miami because Derrick Rose had not recruited any of them.
He tried very well to get all three of them to Chicago, Rose explained on Tuesday,”Of course I tried,”Rose said,”It was always said that I hadn’t tried, but I did.I made a video, but I didn’t say anything about it afterwards.I thought it was more of an organization thing.”
In the summer of 2010 James, Wade and Bosh were all known to be free agents.Meanwhile, Rose had just finished his second season in which he became an all-star for the first time. The Bulls’ dream was to place the three stars alongside the young core around Rose, Joakim Noah, Luol Deng and Taj Gibson.
“They sent the video, but I don’t know if the others were watching it at all.But I made the video,”Rose clarified.
Since this off-season James, Wade and Rose have at least played together with the Cavaliers, but according to Wade there has been no talk of missed chances or anything like that since then,”We concentrate on the here and now.In this league, you never know how it’s gonna happen. We are very happy that we now have D-Rose on the team,”said Wade.
