NFL: Bengals: Season’s Out for Tyler Eifert

The Cincinnati Bengals have to finish a season without Tyler Eifert.The tight end undergoes a back surgery and will not return in the current season.

This was confirmed by NFL network insider Mike Garafolo on Wednesday.Eifert had previously worked with back expert Dr.Robert Watkins advised and finally made the decision on the operation, which ended the season for him.According to ESPN, it will be down for a total of four to six months.

By 2016, the tight end of the back had already been operated on, and an ankle surgery was also carried out as a result of an injury sustained in the Pro Bowl.All in all, this is the third operation on the back for the 27-year-old.Eifert’s contract in Cincinnati expires after the season.

It’s the fifth NFL season for Eifert, but so far he hasn’t played all 16 regular season matches.In the previous year, it had already reached only eight games (29 REC, 394 YDS, 5 TD), this time the counter ends with two bets (4 REC, 46 YDS).
