NBA: MJ warns:”28 teams will be garbage.”

NBA legend Michael Jordan sees the league on a wrong path. The 54-year-olds are bothered by the tendency for superstars to be distributed among very few teams.

“You’ll have one or two great teams and 28 will be garbage,”said the owner of the Charlotte Hornets to the magazine Cigar Aficionado and predicted boredom.

Last year, the Golden State Warriors, which were already well positioned, had strengthened with Kevin Durant. The Cleveland Cavaliers recently brought in Dwyane Wade, and the Oklahoma City Thunder and the Houston Rockets now also boast a string of all-stars.

The accumulation of exceptional players in individual clubs will “harm the competition in the league,”Jordan said. However, he himself had dominated the NBA in the 1990s with the Chicago Bulls and won six titles in eight years.

Jordan also doesn’t like the fact that big players from different eras are compared with each other:”I’ve never played Wilt Chamberlain.I never played Jerry West. It’s a little unfair to say now that one was better than the other.”
