NBA: Media: Bucks ahead of Jefferson commitment

Richard Jefferson was first traded to the Atlanta Hawks and then released.According to media reports, he could join the Milwaukee Bucks as a future free agent.

That’s what ESPN says.Accordingly, there is an interest on both sides in working together.Jefferson and Kay Felder were traded from the Cavaliers to the Atlanta Hawks on Saturday, but both of them fired.As of Monday they will be Unrestricted Free Agents.

Rumours have it that the bucks recently dismissed Gerald Green, leaving a place in the squad.The 37-year-old veteran Jefferson could serve as a mentor for the many young Bucks players.

Jefferson has been in the league since 2001 and has always been a productive and hardworking small forward. In 2016 he became champion with the Cavaliers.Last season he played 5.7 points and 2.6 rebounds in 20.4 minutes.
