Handball: Karason leaves Hannover-Burgdorf at the end of the season

Icelandic international Runar Karason leaves handball club TSV Hannover-Burgdorf at the end of the season.This was announced by the fourth place in the standings on Monday.Karason had moved to Lower Saxony in November 2013.

Previously, the backroom player had played in the Bundesliga for the foxes Berlin, the Bergische HC, TV Großwallstadt and the Rhine-Neckar Löwen.

“In Runar Karason, we lose a player who has distinguished himself through his reliability and loyalty,”said Managing Director Benjamin Chatton.

“But it’s still early in the season, so we have plenty of time for joint success.It is also clear, however, that we need to reorient ourselves in this position.”
