NFL: Bobby Rainey achieves curious return touchdown

Bobby Rainey, return specialist at the Baltimore Ravens, showed in Week 6 against the Chicago Bears that nothing and nobody can stop him on the football field.

The Ravens just suffered the Chicago Bears’ second touchdown in the third quarter as Rainey positioned himself for a kick-off return. The 29-year-old took the ball on his own 4-yard line, and at first there was not much sign of a successful return.

Rainey then went down on the 20-yard line and all players thought the game was over. But the referees really don’t whistle the scene, because the Ravens return gymnast was only touched by team mate Tyus Bowser, but not by a Bears player.Rainey was quickest to pick up the situation and headed for the Bears end zone.

In the Red Zone Rainey also avoided a tackle from Bears-Running-Back Benny Cunningham and fought for the meanwhile 9:17 from the point of view of the Ravens.Baltimore was even able to equalize later, but the Bears won in the extra time with 27:24.
