Handball: DHB-Cup: Göppingen and Wetzlar in the quarter-finals

Frisch Auf Göppingen and HSG Wetzlar have qualified as the first teams for the quarter-finals in the DHB Cup.Göppingen won the league rival HC Erlangen thanks to seven goals from the German international Marcel Schiller 28:27 (14:14).

Wetzlar also won 28:27 (16:14) at the Bundesliga descent Bergischer HC.Maximilian Holst (9) and European champion Jannik Kohlbacher (8 goals) were the HSG’s most successful throwers.

The next six games will be played on Wednesday.Among other things, THW Kiel will be a guest of the surprise TSV Hannover-Burgdorf team (18.30 hrs/Sky Sport News HD).At 7.30 pm the SG Flensburg-Handewitt will play against the Bundesliga runner-up, Foxes Berlin.The final four of the best four teams will be on 5th place.and 6.May in Hamburg.
