Handball: HBL: World Champion Kraus lacks Stuttgart for up to six weeks

The TVB Stuttgart has to manage for up to six weeks without playmaker Michael Kraus. The world champion of 2007 got a muscle fibre tear in his left calf on Wednesday in the cup round of 16 at the TBV Lemgo (29:27 n. V.). That’s what an MRI showed.

In addition, Simon Baumgarten and Finn Kretschmer are not ready for the home game against GWD Minden on Sunday (12.30 a. m.).

Baumgarten continues to suffer from an inflammation of the vertebrae, Kretschmer has suffered an external ligament injury to his right foot.
