NBA: Two-Way Deal: Blazers get Baldwin

Only a few days ago Wade Baldwin was cut by the Memphis Grizzlies. Now the Guard has joined the Portland Trail Blazers.

Baldwin signed a two-way contract in Portland, as the franchise announced on Thursday. Shortly before the start of the season, Memphis had unexpectedly broken up with the 21-year-old, who was still in 17th place in 2016. in the first place.

Last season Baldwin played for the grizzlies 33 times, scoring 3.2 points and 1.8 assists in an average of 12.3 minutes. In the G League he scored 12.9 points and 5.3 assists for Iowa Energy in 33 games.

As a two-way player, Baldwin can spend up to 45 days with the NBA Roster and otherwise play in the G League. He’s with the blazers, next to C. J. Wilcox is the second player with such a contract.
