NFL: Cards disaster: Palmer suffers fracture of arm

The Arizona Cardinals have to make do without their quarterback after David Johnson: Carson Palmer broke his arm in the game against the Los Angeles Rams in the second quarter and had to leave the game. Drew took over Stanton for him.

Palmer was injured after a hit when the quarterback threw an interception with 5’41 “remaining time in the second quarter. This was captured by Rams-Safety Lamarcus Joyner.

Cardinal coach Bruce Arians then confirmed that Palmer had broken his arm and needed surgery. Arians also reported that Palmer would be absent for eight weeks and that Drew Stanton would start in his absence.

Palmer left the game during a six-point gap. The Cardinals finally lost the game with 0:33. Palmer threw in over 122 yards and an interception until his injury at ten out of 18 successful pass attempts.
