Handball: SG Flensburg-Handewitt wins two Vice World Championships

Vice champion SG Flensburg-Handewitt is pushing ahead with his personal upheaval and has signed two Norwegian national players, Magnus Jöndal (29) and playmaker Göran Johannessen (23). The two runners-up world champions will be switching to the Flensburg Fjord next summer from the current Danish leader of the standings, GOG Handbold, and each signed a three-year contract until 2021. This was announced by the SG on Monday.

“After Kentin Mahe and Thomas Mogensen informed us about their departure at an early stage, we were able to become active at an early stage and have now found the perfect solution for the period from summer 2018”, said Flensburgs Managing Director Dierk Schmäschke.
