NHL: Calgary Flames: Jaromir Jagr fails injured

Jaromir Jagr will not be available to the Calgary Flames in the NHL for at least a week. The club put the 45-year-old Czech on the so-called “Injured Reserve List”due to an injury to the lower body.

Flames striker Mark Jankowski of the AHL farm team Stockton Heat were replaced by Flames. Jagr now has to take a break of at least seven days before coach Glen Gulutzan is allowed to bring the seasoned player back into the squad.

Jagr are still missing 51 places to overtake the legendary Gordie Howe (1767) as record player with most of the games in the world’s strongest ice hockey league.
