NFL: Goodbye?

Head coach Bruce Arians resisted the rumors about a possible career end.

Via Twitter, Arians said on Tuesday evening:”I hear reports that I’m going to end my career. That’s news for me. Nothing could be further away from the truth, I am 100 percent focused on finding my way back to the track against San Francisco.

ABC15. com had previously reported that Arians had told some confidants that he had ended his career after the season. The denial is not surprising in the first step – but we can still be curious to see how things will go for the Cardinals after the season.

Because Arizona is facing a potentially critical decision. Although Palmer and Larry Fitzgerald are still playing on a high level, both of them could finish the season at the end. Fitzgerald in particular had already played with this idea in the spring.

The cardinals have some defensive building blocks to be competitive. At the same time, the team will have to find its quarterback of the future. The choice here will depend largely on whether Arians stays or whether another coach comes.
