Ski Alpin: Bode Miller’s final career end?

For Bode Miller (40) the time seems to have come finally to say goodbye. The most successful US ski racer (33 World Cup victories) will no longer appear in the upcoming Alpine squad of the US Ski Federation.

Miller had never declared his resignation, but he himself “ruled out” that he would return to the World Cup once again.

In the past two seasons, the combined Olympic champion 2010 and four-time world champion Miller had been missing because he had left his ski company Head after the home World Championships 2015 in Beaver Creek. On the condition that he will not compete on any skis other than Head in the World Cup until 2017. But Miller was involved with Bomber. His lawsuits against Head were unsuccessful.
