Golf: Golf: Langer celebrates his 36th birthday on the Champions Tour.

Golf icon Bernhard Langer has once again proven his exceptional position on the Champions Tour. The 60-year-old from Anhausen also won the tournament in Thousand Oaks/California and celebrated his 36th birthday. Victory, this season’s seventh victory.

Langer, who only triumphed in Richmond/Virginia last week, prevailed in the Sherwood Country Club on the second extra hole against Miguel Angel Jimenez from Spain. After three rounds, both had 205 strokes. David Toms (USA/207) finished third.

This season, Langer has already won around 3.1 million euros in prize money. He leads the annual ranking on the Tour of Golfers over 50 years old or older. Langer had already won it six times, the last three times in a row.
