Zach Miller of the Chicago Bears had to undergo an emergency surgery in his left leg after suffering a severe injury at New Orleans Saints (12:20). This is reported by several US media in agreement.

According to ESPN, there was even a risk that Miller might lose his leg.

The 33-year-old was unhappy in Sunday’s match when he attempted to catch a pass. He dislocated his left knee and the ligaments, menisci, vessels and muscles in his leg were also damaged. He was immediately transported from the field to a hospital.

“Our thoughts and prayers are with him,”said Bears coach John Fox after the game. Initially, the team did not provide any information on Miller’s health.
