NBA: Magic dispense with Hezonja option

The Orlando Magic have waived the option to keep Mario Hezonja for a fourth contract year, ESPN reports. The option would have cost the Croatian $5.2 million.

Hezonja, who in 2015 at 5. In his two NBA years to date, he has not been able to convince the Magic team, with over 150 NBA missions scoring only 5.5 points at 40.1 percent of the field.

Nevertheless, there are reported to have been some requests for Hezonja. Among other things, the Kings are said to have reported a trade inquiry over the weekend, but so far no deal has been made. This should now be simplified.

Hezonja, 22, will become Unrestricted Free Agent next summer. Theoretically the Magic could still hold it, but according to the report both sides are more interested in a separation.
