NBA: Hayward confirms his season out

The badly injured Gordon Hayward turned to the public in a blog. He confirmed that he will not play this season. He also praised the Celtics in the highest tones.

“The Celtics organization is great in every aspect. They know I won’t be on the court this season – and yet they’ll make sure I get everything I need. And they always make me feel like I’m part of this team,”Hayward wrote on his Facebook page.

He wrote about the injury:”I knew immediately that it was something terrible. Still, it didn’t hurt excessively when I landed. But when I saw the foot as it was unnaturally out of the way, I thought,”Oh, that’s not good”. James Rosneck back in the right position.

Hayward flew back to Boston after the game on the team plane with “They needed four people to get me on the plane. One of them was Brad Stevens. Although there were at least 25 people who wanted to help, he insisted. That shows was for a great guy he is.”

Meanwhile, the operation had gone “extremely well”. Therefore, the doctors confirmed that he would recover completely from the injury. When the time comes, he is looking forward to his debut in Boston “It will be a bit late, but with every day of my rehabilitation I’m getting closer to it. I’m dreaming of sharing this moment with all the fans.”
