NBA: G-League: Hartenstein loses at debut

At the start of the new G-League season, Isaiah Hartenstein also made his debut at the Rio Grande Valley Vipers. The German international came from the bank.

The Vipers had to admit to defeating Oklahoma City Blue, who won the match with 112:109. Markel Brown was the outstanding man in the Oklahoma City Thunder farm team with 21 points and 9 rebounds.

Hartenstein left the bank for 16 minutes at the Vipers, but didn’t have any luck. He only scored one of his five throws, but after all he scored four free throws and hit three of them. Hartenstein scored 5 points, plus he collected a good 9 rebounds and 1 steal. Top scorer among the Vipers was Troy Williams with 20 points.

Hartenstein, 19, was in the summer at 43. The second part has been drafted by the Houston Rockets. However, since Houston didn’t have a place in the NBA squad for the Big Man, he signed a contract with the farm team and will play in the G-League this season.
