NHL: Next Draisaitl Stall: Oilers crack Devils

German international Leon Draisaitl continues to shine as a goalscorer in the NHL. In the Edmonton Oilers’ 6-3 win over New Jersey Devils, the 22-year-old scored his second goal in the second game in a row, beating the Canadian 5-2 (54-2).

After Edmonton’s fourth victory of the season, the Cologne-born player scored three goals of the season. Meanwhile, Connor McDavid, who had three assists, was the outstanding player of the Oilers.

Draisaitt’s national team mate Korbinian Holzer was not used at the Anaheim Ducks.

His team’s second consecutive 3-5 defeat to Nashville Predators saw the defender only in the stands.
