Golf: Rose wins in Antalya – Kaymer on rank 30

Justin Rose celebrated his tenth victory on the European Tour in Antalya, Turkey, and underlined his strong constitution. The 37-year-old Englishman from England won the tournament with a seven million dollar prize money, thanks to a birdies on the last hole after four rounds with 266 strokes, just ahead of the South African Dylan Fritelli and Nicolas Colsaerts from Belgium (both 267).

Rose, who only triumphed in Shanghai last week, will receive a victor’s cheque for the equivalent of around 985,000 euros.

Former world number one Martin Kaymer (Mettmann), who has been waiting for a tournament victory since June 2014, finished the Turkish Open after his third round on course standard (Par 71) with a total of 279 strokes in 30th place. Marcel Siem from Ratingen dropped to 64th place (287 strokes) on the final day after an indisputable 77th place.
