MLB: Judge becomes cover athlete on the Playstation

Aaron Judge from the New York Yankees will be featured on the cover of the official MLB video game “MLB 18: The Show”. This was announced by Sony Entertainment on Monday on its social channels.

Judge will be the successor of Hall-of-Famer Ken Griffey Jr. on the US-American cover of the baseball video game, which is exclusively available on Playstation.

In addition to Judge, Marcus Stroman from the Toronto Blue Jays cover athlete will also be. The pitcher will adorn the Canadian version of the game.

Judge caused a sensation in the 2017 season and set a new rookie record with 52 home runs in the season. Due to his achievements, he is one of the three finalists for two major awards: Rookie of the Year and MVP of the American League.

Judge is the first Yankee player to make it onto the cover of “The Show”. The video game series has been available since the 2006 season.
