NBA: Shirischelte: OKC-Trio has to pay

After Russell Westbrook, Paul George and coach Billy Donovan of Oklahoma City Thunder publicly criticised the referees after the match against Portland, they have now been fined.

All three of them will have to pay a $15,000 fine, as the NBA announced on Wednesday. They had responded after the game that Thunder-Forward Carmelo Anthony had taken a Flagrant-2 and had to leave the scene, while a foul against Westbrook was not punished.

He was therefore particularly critical:”I was beaten in the face, but they didn’t look at the scene again,”says the MVP,”I think that when it comes to us or me, they don’t whistle the way they usually do. That’s a bunch of bullshit. They just don’t whistle the same way. I don’t think that’s fair.”

The whistle against Anthony was considered controversial, but the league once again evaluated the scene and confirmed the call.
