Ice hockey: Germany Cup for Endras already finished

For national goalkeeper Dennis Endras, the Deutschland Cup is already over after half a game. The man from Mannheim had to play against record world champion Russia in the 34th minute at the 2:8. He has pain in his leg,”reported national coach Marco Sturm,” it doesn’t seem so bad.

In the next two matches in Augsburg on Saturday (16.00 hrs) against Slovakia and on Sunday (16.45 hrs/both Sport1) against the USA, Endras will no longer be used.

Timo Pielmeier from Ingolstadt, who replaced the man from Mannheim against Russia, will once again be standing between the posts against defending champion Slovakia. The third goalkeeper of the German team is Danny from Munich.
