NBA: Fox lets Kings cheer – OKC is defeated again

The Sacramento Kings stopped the Philadelphia 76s and won thanks to a game winner from Rookie De’ Aaron Fox. Meanwhile, the Oklahoma City Thunder are losing again. Lonzo Ball hits again weakly, but scratches on a triple double.

In L. A. the wizards had still stumbled across the lakers, but this time the capitals played it seriously. After not even beating the Mavericks in the lead against Washington, the Wizards played a 21-point cushion in the third quarter and did not give it up, even though Julius Randle (11) narrowed it down to nine points eight minutes before the end.

But Bradley Beal (22) answered promptly from Downtown and removed the last doubts. The wizards hit a strong 51.8 percent of the field, while the Lakers scuttled only 36 percent of the throws,”That was a job from the coach,” Beal explained. We did so,” This was especially successful after the break. The Lakers were held at 39 points (25.6 percent from the field).

Lonzo Ball was also again only marginally hit (3/12 FG). The Point Guard scratched with 10 points, 8 rebounds and 8 assists on a triple double. If he had succeeded, he would have been the youngest player of all time to succeed. The record is still held by LeBron James. Meanwhile, coach Luke Walton defended his protégé, who continues to receive a lot of criticism:”He is an incredible player and today he almost played a triple double. Still, they’re all talking about his litter. After his first twelve games, Ball has a 29.2 percent share of the field. Only one player has been able to do this since 1954 (Wayne Hightower, 26.8 percent).

Brook Lopez and Jordan Clarkson were the best scorers of the Lakers, with seven players scoring double-digit points each with 15 points. For Washington, this was John Wall (23.8 rebounds). Otto Porter contributed a further 20 points, while Markieff Morris scored 16 points (6/7 FG). The Power Forward achieved this in just 17 minutes.

Gripping affair in Canada. Toronto had a good grip on the Pelicans’ bigs, but this time Anthony Davis (18) and DeMarcus’ cousins (20 points, 8/24 FG, 15 rebounds, 7 turnovers) got a lot of support, so the game remained exciting until the end. If you take out the Twin Towers, New Orleans sunk 30 of 44 litters.

This was mainly due to Jrue Holiday, who with 34 points (14/20 FG) and 11 assists made an outstanding game and thus played a Season High. On the other hand, DeMar DeRozan (33 points, 8 assists) had a more than solid evening and took over with 8 points in the crunchtime in the last 90 seconds. But why he also tried to turn around a turnaround threesome will remain his secret.

It was enough, however, also because Toronto was able to build on a strong bank (37 points) and all the starters played their part. Kyle Lowry scored an efficient 18 points (7/13 FG), 6 rebounds and 7 assists, while Jonas Valanciuna’s 13 rebounds took hold. Serge Ibaka scored 19 points (8/14 FG), 6 rebounds and 2 blocks. Jakob Pöltl played 19 minutes this time, in which he scored 6 points (3/5 FG), 6 rebounds (4 offensive) and 2 assists.
