Eric Bledsoe made a successful debut for Milwaukee Bucks in his victory over San Antonio Spurs. Afterwards Superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo was enthusiastic about his new team-mate, and head coach Jason Kidd was also praised.
“As a coach, you want to see that every night,”said Kidd after his team’s 94:87 win:”Eric has breathed new life into us with his intensity. I think his speed makes the game much easier for everyone else.”
The coach was also satisfied with the teamwork of the newly formed Starting Five:”For playing together for the first time, they did a great job” Bledsoe delivered exactly what the 44-year-old had hoped for from his newcomer “He came to the Zone, made good decisions, scored and looked for his fellow players”, says Kidd:”And his leadership and voice on the pitch.
Superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo also praised the new colleague:”It’s really easy to play with him,”the Greek Freak said after the game:”He finds his fellow players. He’s doing the right placements. That’s exactly the way we want to play.”
The 27-year-old Bledsoe had only arrived in Milwaukee on Tuesday by trade from the Phoenix Suns. In his first game for the Bucks, the Point Guard scored 13 points, 7 assists and 4 rebounds in 28 minutes.
