NHL: Vesey: Teeth found in the lower lip

Jimmy Vesey of the four-time NHL champion New York Rangers has found his lost tooth in an unusual place.

He was stuck in his lower lip, as shown by X-rays after the match against the Edmonton Oilers (4:2) for the German youngster Leon Draisaitl.

In Madison Square Garden, Vesey had caught the skate of opponent Zack Kassian on his face and left the ice covered in blood.

Later he returned with a full sight, continued to play and didn’t suspect that the broken tooth was still there.

“This is hockey,”Vesey wrote on Twitter and published the x-ray. The tweet also included the hash day “#SorryMa” (I’m sorry, Mama).
