NBA: Cavs-GM Altman sighting Doncic

Even if they want to play for the title this season, the Cleveland Cavaliers will probably have a high lottery pick in the coming draft. For this reason, Cavaliers-GM has seen Luka Doncic in the past few days.

Doncic, 18, will play at Real Madrid and is considered to be a probable top-three in draft 2018 if he signs up for it. The Slovenian currently has 14 points and 6 rebounds on average.

Altman saw him in the duel against Maccabi Tel Aviv, where he played 19 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists, as well as against FC Barcelona on Sunday (20 points, 10 rebounds). Since Monday the Cavs-GM is back with his team.

Cleveland has two first round picks in the upcoming draft, because they got an additional first round of the Brooklyn Nets in Kyrie Irving’s trade. Doncic has been watched for years by a lot of NBA scouts in almost all his games.

“Luka is mentally strong and won’t let himself be put off by the fact that his eyes are on him,”said Real coach Pablo Laso this weekend,”I don’t care about the scouts and Luka doesn’t care. He’s had to deal with it since he was 13 years old.”
