Ice hockey: DEL: Cologne sharks with narrow home win against Krefeld

The Cologne sharks have made a small step out of the crisis in the German Ice Hockey League (DEL).

After four defeats from the previous five games and a crash to tenth place, the eight-time champion defeated Krefeld Penguins 3-2 (2-0,1-1,0-1) on Wednesday. Cologne initially improved to seventh place in the table, Krefeld remains twelfth.

Blair Jones (18th), Nicolas Krämmer (20th) and Felix Schütz (28th) met for the sharks, Daniel Pietta (27th) and Dragan Umicevic (58th) were successful on the guests’ side.
