The Edmonton Oilers have celebrated their highest win of the season so far. Leon Draisaitl’s team of international players won against the new Golden Knights franchise from Las Vegas after a strong performance with 8:2. Draisaitl contributed two assists and stood on the ice for 18:11 minutes.
Previously, there had been two defeats for the Canadians, who were second to last in the Western Conference with 16 points from 18 games.
Draisaitl’s national team mate Tom Kühnhackl won with the Pittsburgh Penguins against the Buffalo Sabres after overtime 5:4.
