The Seattle Mariners and the Oakland Athletics have agreed on a trade for First Baseman Ryon Healy. In return, Reliever Emilio Pagan and a Minor League prospect go to California.
Healy completed his first full season in 2017 in the Big Leagues and beat 25 home runs with 78 RBI over 149 games. He brought it to a slash line of. 271/. 302/. 451 for the A’s. He played mainly third base, but is actually a trained first baseman.
