After the Buffalo Bills announced a change in their quarterback position, Tyrod Taylor now voiced his opinion on the situation in public. Taylor declared to have been “naturally shocked” when coach Sean McDermott told him the decision.
“I don’t agree with the decision,”said Taylor at a press conference on Wednesday,”but finally, coach McDermott has an overview and a sense of what’s best for the team. My job now is to look forward and be the same leader as before, just from a different role.”
Taylor was already eliminated from the game last weekend for rookie Nathan Peterman in a clear 10:47 defeat against New Orleans Saints. Taylor had previously only managed 9 of his 18 pass attempts for 56 yards and also threw an interception.
On Wednesday, McDermott announced that this year’s five-round pick of this year’s drafts will be pitted against the Los Angeles Chargers in the upcoming game on Sunday instead of Taylor. Peterman was the eighth quarterback to be selected in the past draft and made a positive impression against New Orleans with 7 out of 10 successful passes and a touchdown.
