Handball: New left wing: THW Kiel hires brother of Torwart Landin

The German handball record champion THW Kiel will be joined this summer by Danish international Magnus Landin.

The 22-year-old left-winger, brother of THW goalkeeper Niklas Landin, comes to the Fjord from 14 times Danish champion KIF Kolding Copenhagen. He has a contract until 30. June 2020. Emil Frend Öfors, on the other hand, will leave the club at the end of his one-year contract.

“Magnus, despite his 22 years of international experience, is a very good, versatile defender, and he’s a very good left wing player,”said THW coach Alfred Gislason:”Magnus Landin is one of the top left wingers of the new generation. We are very pleased to have convinced him of us and our long-term concept,”said Managing Director Thorsten Storm.
