NBA: Cavs: Shumpert also fails

The injury bad luck remains with the Cleveland Cavaliers: Iman Shumpert will also miss several games for the East Champion.

Shumpert got a bruise in his left knee last game against the Clippers. Now it will be cancelled for at least a week. Thus, the guards are running out of cavs: Shumpert started on the last one, because Isaiah Thomas (hip) and Derrick Rose (ankle) are also injured.

With Rose, the Cavaliers didn’t announce until Friday that he could miss another three weeks. His ankle injury seems more persistent than he thought. In addition, starting center Tristan Thompson is missing until December.

Under these circumstances, Cleveland is credited for the fact that they seem to be slowly picking up speed after a weak start to the season. After last four wins in a row, they are now in 5th place with a 9-7 record.
