NBA: Sixers: Fultz cancels further weeks

Markelle Fultz is making progress with his shoulder injury, but the No. 1 pick will still be out for a while, as the Philadelphia 76ers announced on Sunday.

Fultz will be absent for at least another two or three weeks and will then be examined again, the statement said. The Point Guard will continue with physiotherapy and will soon resume basketball activities.

Fultz has only been able to participate in four matches so far, but he was visibly handicapped by the injury. The No. 1 pick came out of the field in these games only 33 percent and 50 percent of the free-throw line.

Since 29. On October 1, the Sixers took him out of circulation to recover completely. The injury is called “muscular imbalance” in the right shoulder.

Philadelphia is currently in sixth place at the Eastern Conference with an 8-7 record.
