Handball: foxes at least three weeks without foxes

The foxes Berlin have to give up the European champion and Olympic runner-up Fabian Wiede in the next games. The 23-year-old backroom player pulled a knee strain in the lead rider’s league match in Minden (37:29) and Fabian will probably be missing us for three to four weeks,”announced Fox sports coordinator Volker Zerbe on Monday.

Wiede is in physiotherapeutic treatment and explained:”This is of course annoying, but it could have been worse for me. The knee is already much better. I can walk without problems. For the next ten days, I’m not going to do anything for the time being.”

Drago Vukovic, on the other hand, gives the all-clear. The Croatian suffered from knee problems, but will be able to play against FC Porto (30-27) on Thursday in the second leg of the European EHF Cup group stage.
